You can't leave that market without a few bags! You can find actually everything you need or want, all in one place and is so cheap -if you are a good bargainer ;-)
But at certain point everyone got to go back and...you don't imagine what to expect.

Late in the afternoon, tired a bit jet legged and very hot I go back to the hostel where I can have a nice cold beer in the terrace

BANGKOK, Thailand

My first day

sunny 30 °C

Once arrived at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, after a pleasant flight via Doha, the first thing I can feel is the heat. I left Italy where is winter and I get straight away into a tropical climate which is shocking. All I have is one night booked in a hostel in the Sukumvit area and I need to find my way there to drop my backpack full of all I need for a year, a shower and some rest as the heat and more than an hour spent at the immigration desk exhausted me.
Finally I reach my accommodation, surprisingly it's exactly as shown on the website!
